We do not recommend this product as an everyday leash, is it designed for quick walks and often used in dog sports for ease of taking off the leash/collar when entering the competition ring.  

Easy to slip on and off, the French Martingale style is your go-to leash for every dog sport adventure! It is also perfect for quick potty breaks or as a handy backup leash in a pinch. Unlike regular slip leashes, this one has a wider, separate collar section that is not designed to pinch the dogs neck.  

SIZING + INFO:

Measure around your dogs neck and choose the size closest to their neck size. The smallest measurement is the smallest the collar portion goes and there is 1-2" of wiggle room due to this style. This is not designed to be a slip lead. Please do not get a size smaller than your dogs neck. 

Leash Lengths are all between 5-6' feet and are 5/8" wide. 

Main Color: Refers to the color of the leash and collar. 

Accent Color: Refers to the tab colors and on some, the handle color. 

Stainless Steel or Black (Brass) Hardware. 

Please note: black hardware is painted and will chip over time.

What is Biothane?

Biothane looks and feels like leather, but it is made with a PVC outer layer and nylon core. Biothane is very durable and has been tested with real dogs and horses :) It can get wet, muddy, dragged, pulled - it is built to last!

Although Biothane is easy to clean it is not entirely stain resistant against things like permanent maker, paint or red dirt on lighter colors. Biothane is stink proof, but there are some odors (like Skunk) that it may not withstand.
