Return Policy + Shipping

Orders purchased between DEC 1-22 will be available for exchange or store credit til JAN 4 2024. Seasonal items such as holiday toys or bandanas are final sale. Product must be in returnable condition as per our return policy. For orders purchased as gifts in November, please contact us and we can make a note on your order for you.

We offer refund or exchange within 10 days of purchase or within 10 days of your package being delivered.

Items that are purchased on sale (including the use of discount codes) are for exchange or store credit only. Items that are discounted 40% off or more are FINAL SALE. 

To be eligible for return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original unopened packaging or with original tags attached. To complete your return we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

The following items are final sale:

  • Custom Walk by Good Boy Orders
  • Hand Stamped Dog Tags
  • Items discounted more than 40% off the original price. 
  • Fable Dog crates are final sale. Please triple check measurements before ordering.
  • Diggs orders cannot be canceled after they have been ordered from Diggs (within 3 days of your order). Please note timelines on product descriptions. 

If the condition of your item is not approved for return it will be sent or given back to you. 

Sorry, We do not offer sale rain checks. Price adjustments are considered within 7 days of purchase and will be given as store credit. We require your original receipt. 

We do not refund Gift Cards or credits for cash value.

Only one discount code or offer is available per order. Welcome discounts expire within 3 days and are not redeemable at later dates. 

Shipping your Return

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning your item. When sending your item, please include a note inside the package that has your order number and what you'd like to exchange for (or if you prefer a refund/store credit).

When we receive your product back (and if your product is in the condition stated above) we will cover the shipping back to you for your exchange. If you opted for a refund, we will refund your order to your original method of payment. If your product is for store credit, you will receive a Gift Card via email.

We are sorry, shipping charges are non refundable. 

The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on where you live. 

We do not guarantee that we will receive your exchange and recommend choosing a shipping method that has tracking or insurance for items over $75. 

Replacing or Refunding Defective Items

Items damaged by your pet (i.e chewed, ripped or soiled) or due to misuse (used outside the products intended use, washed incorrectly) or changes in product due to wear and tear will not be considered defective.

Unfortunately, no dog toy is indestructible. We do not offer refunds on toys that have been damaged after play.

If your item is damaged in a way we can consider defective, we will consider replacement within 60 days of purchase.

Some brands have warranties of their own that differ from our store policy. Please contact the brand directly or reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns with the quality of your product. 

Walk By Good Boy Brand Warranty

If you come across any issues with the hardware of your leash or collar in it’s lifetime, we are happy to replace the hardware on your leash for you. Hardware includes all stainless steel elements of your leash or collar (ie clips, rings and screws). Please note: In rare cases, hardware replacements sometimes require us to shorten your lead by about 3-5".  

Damage caused by chewing, cutting/catching, wear or misuse of the product will not be considered under warranty for replacement. 

Shipping Notes and Policies 

We offer free shipping for Canadian orders over $150 - excluding large or heavy items such as furniture, beds and large bags of dog food. 

Good Boy Collective is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages. Once we send your order from our shop, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. We advise you to contact the shipping carrier directly should you have any issues with your delivery. 

Shipping speed and tracking is dependent on which method you choose at checkout. If you choose a shipping method without tracking, please be aware that we will not be able to track or determine the shipping speed of your package. 

We ship orders from our store within 1-3 business days. If you order a handmade item (such as a Dog Tag or a Walk by Good Boy item) the lead time is specified in the products description of when your order will be sent. 

Please note: Choosing a faster shipping speed will not change the amount of time your order takes to be processed. The shipping speed you choose will only change how quickly the postal service delivers to you once they have it.
